Wallets Marts Castle Douglas Limited on Wednesday 20th September staged their, annual sales fixture of draft Blackface Ewes and Gimmers.
Outwith the dispersal, Draft Ewes sold to a top of £168 from Messrs Ramsay, Knockreoch and averaged £91.79 (-£7.86) for 249 less sold. Gimmers sold to £500 from Messrs Burns, Craignell and averaged £152.97 (-£3.76) for 419 less sold.
David Wilson, Kirkmabreck favoured us with the sale of his stock sheep which sold to a top of £190 for a pen of 20 gimmers and £178 for a pen of 25 ewes.
